Plurally Adapting

One of the more interesting debates in the field of evolution is between the adaptationists and the pluralists. Some would even argue whether or not these categories are even an accurate depiction of the debate. It's often fun to watch these little skirmishes unfold from the outside.

Take a look at John Hawk's blog entry Richard Lewontin: "[T]oo rapid for genetic adaptation". Now take a trip over to Sandwalk for Larry Moran's response John Hawks on "Adaptationists vs. Pluralists".

Fun times. I a real kick of watching intelligent people argue. It's so much more entertaining than the tired old creationism vs. evolution debate.
