Milking the Fun out of Pre-History
Above are some new commercials produced by the Canadian Milk Board. The animation is great and I actually think they're kinda funny. But I have to wonder why they've reverted to such a Flintstonian view of the pre-history.
These adds could have been made with some cool Pleistocene megafauna instead of dinosaurs. Replace the raptor-like dinos with some smilidons. Take out the T-Rex and throw in a Mammoth. Replace the pterosaur with some sort of giant bird (there are plenty to pick from). And so on.
Maybe I'm being a bit anal, but what's the point of getting kids to drink milk? They might have strong bones, but their brains will be mush? Essentially the Milk Board telling kids to drink milk, but forget history and science class.

It's a work of fiction, it isn't suppose to be historically accurate.
Also, you forgot to mention the anachronistic ice machine.
I know I'm being rather silly about this, but dinos and humans being in cartoons together has always bugged me ever since I was a little kid.
That ice machine however is the real cause of the last major Ice Age.
