Bobtail! Bobtail! Bobtail Squid!

Ever wanted a third eye? How about a third eye that emits light because it's trapped bio-luminescent bacteria inside of it? How about a third eye that uses this awesome power to camouflage your body with the night sky?

Now you're dreams can come true, just as long as you figure out how to turn yourself into a Hawaiian Bobtail squid. If cephalopods weren't cool enough already the Hawaiian Bobtail just made them that much more awesome.


I heard about these fellas on the most recent episode of CBC radio's Quirks and Quarks. This is a great show and I've been listening to it for as long as I can remember. I was going to use this opportunity to take a dig at the otherwise poor quality content produced by the CBC in recent years. But a joke that easy is even beneath me.
